One of the original X-Men, X-Factor and Champions. Also member of the Defenders. The extent of control over his abilities has fluctuated over the years. Briefly wore an inhibitor belt once, after Loki augmented his abilities to levels beyond his control. Possesses a secondary mutation. Retained his powers after M-Day.
