Brother of Cannonball, Husk, Jeb Guthrie, Aero and others. Involved in a romantic relationship with Julia Cabot, which ended in her death because of the feud between the Cabot and Guthrie families. Performed as musician in his home town. Student at the Xavier Institute. Member of the Hellions and New Mutants Squads. Retained his powers post-M-Day. Tricked by William Stryker into helping him. Wings surgically removed by Stryker's men and used to create The Choir. The removal of his wings also caused the loss of his healing powers. Murdered by Stryker.
