Accidentally killed his family when his powers manifested. Considered for recruitment in the X-Men, but was abducted by Ogre and Vanisher. Was experimented upon in Mt. Charteris. Sent through a portal to space. Later returned thanks to Ogre and fought S.H.I.EL.D. and the Redeemers, inadvertently killing several people. Chose to return to his isolation in space.
